Workshops: 101 The Water Life: Preparing for Adult Baptism Baptism is God's gift of acceptance and is open to any person at any age who has not been baptized. All the non-baptized are invited. (Two Sessions) 102 The Lutheran Course: Learning the Basics Seven reasons why being a Lutheran is a gift to the Christian community. (Seven Sessions) 201 How do Lutherans Read the Bible? Is there a right way and a wrong way to read the Bible? Take a look at how Lutherans read the Bible. You might be surprised. (Two Sessions) 202 How to Pray Is your prayer life non-existent or lacking. Get some pointers. (One Session) 301 Good Samaritan Training: Caring for Your Neighbor Want to help a neighbor beyond bringing casseroles. Learn how to help someone in need and learn how to do church visitations. (Three Sessions) 302 Nothing But Your Questions This is exactly as the title suggests: Nothing but your questions. (Two Sessions) 401 Who are Muslims? With Muslins fundamentalists threatening the world, it may be wise to learn about the Muslim religion. (Three Sessions) 402 War and Terrorism: A Lutheran Understanding Is the church for or against war? What about terrorism? Explore this sticky topic. (Two Sessions) 403 The Most Controversial Passages of Scripture Want to challenge and expand your faith? This is the place for you. (Three Sessions) 404 Was Jesus a Liberal or a Conservative? Where would Jesus fall in our political/moral scheme? Good Question! (Two Sessions)
