1.
Creation
In
the beginning was the word...
Starting from the left side of the panel:
Out of the darkness God created the heavens and the Earth,
the day and the night, and all living things.

2.
Adam & Eve
The
fruit from the tree of knowledge is intertwined with the serpent. The Garden of
Eden, with its lush greens and flowing waters is represented on the left side
of the panel. The flowing lines show the expulsion from the Garden.

3.
Noah
After
the Great Flood, God sent a sign in the form of a rainbow

4.
Moses and the Red Sea
This
is one of the more interesting panels in this section.
Starting in the top right section we see a blue glass that as you look lower
the circles in the glass get larger and larger.
This represents the Jews as they left Egypt and entered the desert.
The red glass is the pillar of fire from God as a light in the darkness,
leading them to the promised land.
Moses stands in the center of the window with his hands raised to part the
red sea with the dark green glass at the lower left representing the promised
land.

5.
The 10 Commandments
The
rams horn in the middle of the window is a traditional musical instrument used
in the Jewish faith as a call to worship.
With the two stone tablets containing the commandments given to Moses by God
we are called to follow and worship our God.

6.
King David
Two
interwoven equilateral triangles form a six-pointed star traditionally the
shape of David's shield.
Sometimes called the "Creator's star", the six points recall the
six days of creation.
The lamb and a hidden harp remind us of David's early humble life as a
shepherd and his love of music.
